Kentucky’s Fox and Adebayo Involved In Car Accident, Escape Uninjured

Kentucky star freshmen De’Aaron Fox and Bam Adebayo were involved in a car accident Sunday afternoon as passengers, though both suffered no injuries, according to a Kentucky spokesman.

The two Wildcats were on their way back to campus for a meeting when the accident occurred. Since neither were injured or operating the vehicle at the time, they received another ride to campus to ensure they would make the meeting on time.

Police showed up later in the evening to the Craft Center to speak with Fox and Adebayo.

Fox, the team’s point guard, is currently projected as the No. 8 pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, according to DraftExpress.com. Adebayo is slated at the No. 21 spot.

Head coach John Calipari was present Sunday at the Primetime Shootout at Roselle (N.J.) Catholic to scout some of New Jersey’s young talent.
