SANTA ANA, Calif. — David McCormack, the Class of 2018 center from Oak Hill (VA) Academy, said three schools are recruiting him the hardest on Friday as Oak Hill defeated Foothills Christian by a score of 86-59.
McCormack named Kansas, Louisville, and Texas as the three schools working the hardest for his recruitment. He mentioned that “a lot of other schools are jumping into my recruitment right now”.
McCormack finished the game on Friday with 6 points and 13 rebounds.
Six Schools Working Hardest For Kenneth Nwuba
**Kenneth Nwuba, the 2018 power forward from Oak Hill (VA) Academy, says Mississippi State, Arizona, Arizona State, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Penn State are recruiting him the hardest.
“I don’t know when I’m going to make my decision yet,” said Nwuba. “I’m still a junior, so I’m still looking at schools and focusing on my studies,”
Nwuba finished Friday’s game against Foothills Christian with 2 points and 1 rebound.
Justice Sueing Talks Cal Commitment
**Justice Sueing, the 6-7 power forward from Mater Dei (CA) Academy, and recent California commit finished Friday’s game against Village Christian (CA) High School with 13 points and 6 rebounds on 5/8 shooting.
Sueing, who committed to California on Wednesday, spoke about his decision. “Cal, I just feel like when I got there it was a fit for me,” said Sueing. “Coach Cuonzo [Martin] and Coach [Tracy] Webster have a lot of faith in me. I feel like I can excel and be a great player there,”
Sueing joins Jemarl Baker, Juhwan Harris-Dyson, Trevin Kell and Alec Hickman as the fifth commit in the Golden Bears’ 2017 class. “I take pride in my defense and that will lead to offense,” said Sueing. “For me, fitting in offensively, I can fit in at all levels, playing all positions and guarding all positions. I’m very versatile so I think I will be fine at the next level,”
Mater Dei defeated Village Christian High School by a score of 74-42 on Friday, led by junior standout Bol Bol, who finished the game with 19 points and 9 rebounds.
