Florida State Assistant Says Grayson Allen Didn’t Commit a ‘Dirty Play’

Florida State assistant coach Dennis Gates says that Grayson Allen did not commit a dirty play during FSU’s win on Tuesday night.

“That was not a dirty play…he dove after a lose ball,” Gates Tweeted in reference to Allen’s dive toward the FSU bench.

Here’s the video:

Allen was coming off a one-game suspension for his latest tripping incident and was booed when he touched the ball. A year ago, he tripped FSU’s Xavier Rathan-Mayes, who said he was looking forward to seeing Allen again and promptly dropped 21 points in the win.
