Marvin Bagley III Goes for 28 as Sierra Canyon Ends Oak Hill’s 56-Game Winning Streak

Marvin Bagley III put on a show on national television Thursday night.

The 6-foot-11 junior went for 28 points and 8 rebounds as Sierra Canyon (CA) ended Oak Hill (VA) Academy’s 56-game winning-streak with a  83-78 victory in Indiana that was broadcast on ESPN2.

Arizona State-bound guard Remy Martin added 22 points in the win and UCLA-bound forward Cody Riley had 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Sierra Canyon is ranked No. 3 by USA Today and Oak Hill is No. 2.

A special talent who appears headed for the NBA down the road, Bagley is considering Arizona, Arizona State, Kentucky, Duke UCLA and Oregon.

Kansas head coach Bill Self and Louisville coach Rick Pitino were among those on hand for the game.

Iowa State-bound guard Lindell Wigginton led Oak Hill with 21 points, undeclared senior guard Matt Coleman had 14 and Kansas- bound forward Billy Preston had 10.
