Brian “Tugs” Bowen, the 6-foot-7 small forward from La Lumiere (IN), is closing in on a college decision.
“I’m thinking I’m going to make my decision within two weeks,” Bowen said on ESPN2 after going for 27 points in La Lumiere’s 85-63 win over New Albany (IN). “I’m down to Creighton, Michigan State, Arizona and Texas, so we’ll see what happens from there.”
Michigan State-bound forward Jaren Jackson added 9 points and 19 rebounds in the win.
La Lumiere won despite Class of 2018 shooting guard Romeo Langford going for 40 points in the loss in front of Louisville coach Rick Pitino, Purdue coach Matt Painter and Kansas coach Bill Self.
“He’s a great junior, he’s a great player,” Bowen said. “I really enjoy his game.”
