Any time a single school has more than one player sign a National Letter of Intent to play Division 1 basketball, that’s an accomplishment.
On Wednesday, New Jersey powers The Patrick School and Blair Academy will each have four players sign NLIs.
At The Patrick School, guards Jamir Harris (Minnesota) and Marcus McClary (Monmouth) and big men Buay Koka and Bul Ajang (Tulane) will all sign. Harris and McClary committed earlier this fall, while Koka and Ajang, natives of South Sudan, committed on Friday.
Meantime, Patrick School big man Nick Richards will announce his college choice on Thursday between Kentucky, Syracuse and Arizona. It remains unclear when he will sign his NLI.
At Blair, forward Deng Gak (Miami), point guard Matt Turner (Santa Clara), wing Anthony Mack (Wyoming) and big man Zach Kent (Tennessee) will all sign on Wednesday.
Elsewhere around New Jersey, St. Anthony’s point guard R.J. Cole (Howard) is expected to sign Wednesday, as is Roselle Catholic point guard Nate Pierre-Louis (Temple).
