After Kentucky coach John Calipari had a school visit last week with St. Patrick’s big man Nick Richards, Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim is due in this week.
Kentucky, which has had Michael Kidd-Gilchrist call Richards to pitch the school, is also slated to come back to see the 6-foot-11 Richards again, sources said.
Kentucky and Syracuse appear to be the two schools leading for the Jamaican native, who also lists Indiana, UConn and Arizona.
Meantime, Minnesota head coach Richard Pitino is slated to have an in-home visit on Tuesday with St. Pat’s shooting guard Jamir Harris, who has slated officials to Minnesota and Stanford.

DEVONTAE SHULER ENJOYS SOUTH CAROLINA
Devontae Shuler, the 6-3 shooting guard from Oak Hill Academy (VA), enjoyed his official to South Carolina this past weekend.
“The USC visit went very well,” his sister, Donnella Shuler, said. “Frank Martin is a great coach and an even better person. His message [to Devontae] was about learning to grow into a man. We learned a lot about how the Gamecocks operate day-to-day.”
Shuler next visits Oklahoma State this coming weekend and then Ole Miss Oct. 7.
MARCUS SANTOS-SILVA DOWN TO TWO
Marcus Santos-Silva, a 6-7, 260-pound power forward from Vermont Academy, has cut his list to Temple and VCU and has visited both.
He is expected to decide soon, per coach Alex Popp.
“Marcus is 6-7, 260 with a 7-foot wingspan and a nose for the basketball,” Popp said. “He has soft hands and impressive footwork. Because of his ability to rebound the basketball, he will be an impact player at Temple or VCU. He’s probably the second best rebounder to ever wear Vermont Academy black and orange, the first being Tyrique Jones (who plays at Xavier). Marcus still has his senior season to change that opinion, though.”

Nojel Eastern, the 6-6 wing from Evanston (IL) Township, will take an official visit to Michigan State this weekend and may also visit Seton Hall early next month.
Eastern is also considering Ohio State, Purdue, Northwestern and DePaul.
