Kentucky, Kansas, Arizona, N.C. State Coming to Watch P.J. Washington

Head coaches from four college powerhouses are coming to see Findlay Prep forward P.J. Washington beginning Friday.

Kentucky head coach John Calipari, Kansas’ Bill Self, Arizona’s Sean Miller and N.C. State’s Mark Gottfried will be in between Friday-Tuesday, Paul Washington Sr., the new Findlay Prep coach, told SNY.tv.

He initially said all four schools would come Friday, but later elaborated they would come across several days.

P.J. Washington has set dates for his four official visits this fall. The 6-foot-8 Washington will visit Kentucky (Sept. 16-18), North Carolina (Sept. 23-25), Arizona (Oct. 21-23) and Texas (Oct. 28-30).

As for the fifth visit, Washington also has UCLA, N.C. State, Kansas and UNLV on his list.

“We leave that fifth one open strategically to see who’s going where,” Paul said recently. “That’s our goal right now, to get those four out of the way. Maybe 2-3 before November because once the season starts, it’s tough to get them in.”
