2017 Wing Christian David Cuts to 5

Christian David, the 6-foot-7 Class of 2017 wing from Vermont Academy, has cut his list to five schools.

David is down to Butler, Creighton, Miami, Oregon and Pittsburgh, Vermont Academy coach Alex Popp told SNY.tv.

David took an official visit to Creighton in June and will take one or two more in August, a source said.

“Christian David is exceptionally versatile on the basketball court,” Popp said. “As I said on your Podcast last year, his best asset is his passing. He is a knock down shooter and he finishes above the rim. In addition, he is a guy who can guard multiple positions.”

“Shooting, scoring, and defending is one thing, but his ability to pass and make his teammates better is his biggest strength,” said Shane Bascoe, David’s trainer with CIA Bounce.
