Eli Brooks picked up an offer from his “dream school” of Villanova, but plans to weigh his options going forward.
“I could see myself there but I’m going to sit down and think about it,” the 6-foot-1 Class of 2017 point guard from Spring Grove (Pa.) High School and the Jersey Shore Warriors AAU program told SNY.tv on Monday.
Asked if he will visit again, Brooks said, “Possibly, I have already been on campus and played with the guys.”
Brooks recently visited Ohio State, Michigan and Villanova, all of which came aboard after a strong spring on the AAU circuit.
The national-champion Wildcats, who are located approximately 100 miles west from Spring Grove, are intriguing, he previously told SNY.tv.
“My dad’s a North Carolina fan and I’m a Villanova fan, so we had a good time watching that game,” Brooks said at the recent Elevate Hoops event at Philadelphia University.
“Villanova is my dream school. Villanova has been my dream school since I was real young.”
