2018 Breakout Star Khalid Moore Adding Offers

Khalid Moore, a 6-foot-6 wing from New York powerhouse Archbishop Molloy and the NY Rens, was one of the breakout 16U players at the Peach Jam.

Moore went for 23 points and 8 rebounds in a win over Team Melo in front of 50 high-major coaches.

In addition to the offers he had from Iona and Seton Hall, Moore picked up new ones from Miami and VCU and strong interest from Syracuse with an invite to their elite camp.

He received a last minute invite to the Victor Oladipo camp but because of travel and scheduling issues will be in Ardsley, NY this week playing 17U with the RENs. Another 15-20 high-major coaches are expected to watch him next week in Las Vegas at the Fab 48.

“Khalid is a top-50 level recruit but what really separates him is his character,” Rens coach Chris Alesi told SNY.tv. “He’s a great teammate, carries himself the right way at all times and is an A student at Molloy, one of the toughest schools around. The sky is the limit for Khalid.”

Going forward, Moore will play alongside 7-foot Class of 2018 big man Moses Brown and 6-2 Class of 2019 point guard Cole Anthony on a loaded Molloy team. Brown recently added offers from USC and SMU.
