St. Thomas More’s Christian Vital, a 6-foot-2 shooting guard from Queens Village, enjoyed his official visit to Louisville.
“I enjoyed everything from the coaching staff, team, facilities, and the people in the city of Louisville,” he told SNY.tv. “It’s a great place.”
Vital decommitted from UNLV after the coaching change and recently cut his list to three schools, Louisville, UConn and Iowa. He took an official to UConn early last week, along with Brewster (N.H.) Academy big man Taurean Thompson.
“I’m a guy who can play either guard spot so that versatility helps me and the team,” Vital said of Louisville. “They are looking for me to help our right away if I was to go next year. They feel that I have developed a lot over the past year and are looking for that to continue if I was to go there.”
Vital has yet to decide if he will take an official to Iowa.
