Stanford assistant Adam Cohen was already in this week and Virginia head coach Tony Bennett was in last week for the 5-foot-11 Waters.
“Recently, Coach Tony Bennett from Virginia, he came down to school,” Waters said this weekend. “Yale has been in touch, Kansas has been in touch, Creighton a lot. I’m really open to anything, just the best fit pretty much. Indiana, too.
“There’s a lot of schools watching, and I’m thinking about all of them. Indiana, Kentucky, Virginia, Duke, all those big schools, and I hope they’re interested in me. I’m just gonna let the process keep coming to me and let it keep flowing.”
Waters hopes to cut his list later this summer.
“As of right now, I’m just gonna let things keep developing,” he said. “End of the summer, I would like to have a top five.”
