Rutgers lands guard Maishe Dailey

Rutgers has landed its second pledge in the Class of 2016 in Maishe Dailey, a 6-foot-6 combo guard from Beachwood (OH) who recently visited campus.

Rutgers has landed its second pledge in the Class of 2016 in Maishe Dailey, a 6-foot-6, 180-pound combo guard from Beachwood (OH) who recently visited campus.

Dailey, who also had offers from Northern Iowa, Akron and Ohio University, made the announcement on Twitter.

“I liked how comfortable the coaching staff made me feel,” he told SNY.tv following his recent visit to campus. “The coaches didnt say my specific role on the team, only that there will be opportunity for early playing time. Coach [Eddie] Jordan said I bring a high skill set to the team. They love my IQ, ability to shoot, pass, and dribble the ball.”

Dailey joins Jahlil Tripp, a 6-5 wing from Brooklyn Lincoln, in Rutgers’ 2016 class.
