Memphis Transfer Austin Nichols to Visit Virginia; Miles Bridges, Curtis Jones Set Indiana Visit

635720432622401281-usatsi-8392229Transferring Memphis forward Austin Nichols will visit Virginia this weekend, his father confirmed to SNY.tv.

The news was first reported by CBSSports.com.

The report says Nichols — who was recently granted a release — may also visit Kansas.

Nichols averaged 13.3 points and 6.1 rebounds per game this past season.

BRIDGES, JONES TO VISIT INDIANA

Indiana already has one former Huntington (W.V.) Prep star in incoming forward Thomas Bryant.

Now the Hoosiers would like to add a couple more.

Sources confirmed that 2016 studs Miles Bridges and Curtis Jones will visit the Big Ten school Aug. 28-30.

Stu Jackson of the Indiana Scout site previously reported the visit.

Bridges recently announced his Top five of Michigan, Michigan State, Kentucky, North Carolina and Indiana. He will also visit Michigan State Sept. 12 and Kentucky for Big Blue Madness Oct. 16.
