BROOKVILLE, N.Y. — Edrice “Bam” Adebayo is looking to cut his list to 10 schools sometime soon.

“I’ll probably cut it down after July and I’ll probably make my decision before senior [year] basketball starts,” the 6-foot-10, 243-pound power forward said here at the adidas Uprising All-American Camp.

“Probably 10 [schools].”

Kentucky head coach John Calipari and assistant Tony Barbee sat courtside Friday morning watching Adebayo against Rawle Alkins, who plans to visit the school for Big Blue Madness in October.

“I notice them but I try not to notice them when I’m on the court,” said Adebayo, who doesn’t have a Kentucky offer. “I just try to play basketball.”

Asked what it meant that Kentucky was watching, he said, “I guess it means I’m a good player.”

Adebayo seems impressed with what Kentucky has to offer, even if he holds no scholarship offer.

“Their fan base is incredible,” he said. “I like the way they play, fast, they go through their bigs. They just play hard basketball.”

Asked if he sees himself as a one-and-done type of player, he said, “I think it’s more a feeling of you feel it in your heart kind of thing.”

All the North Carolina schools — North Carolina, Duke, N.C. State and Wake Forest — are also involved, as well as some other SEC schools, he said.

“I mean, the whole ACC some of the SEC, just a lot of schools coming at me strong,” he said.

As far as schools, Adebayo said he’s visited ECU, Memphis, Wake Forest, North Carolina, N.C. State, Duke and Virginia.

He would like to see more, too.

“I would love to experience every college I go to,” he said.
