Florida State landed a huge commitment on Monday when Jonathan Isaac pulled the trigger for the Seminoles.
So much help and guidance to get to this point! But in making my own decision I’ve closed my recruitment and commit to FSU!!???? #GoNoles ????⚫️????

A 6-foot-9, 17-year old small forward from Bradenton (FL) IMG Academy who may still grow to 7-feet, Isaac also held scholarship offers from Kentucky, Louisville, Wake Forest and Pitt, among many others.
“When your with family, you feel safe, loved, wanted, and able to be yourself,” Isaac told SNY.tv.
He is ranked the No. 4 small forward in the Class of 2016 by 247Sports.com.
“I feel that Jonathan had a great relationship with the staff,” IMG Academy coach John Mahoney told SNY.tv. “He was getting tired of the recruiting process and wanted to get it done. He knew in his heart where he wanted to be so that is why he chose FSU.
“Jonathan is very long and athletic, very skilled and can shoot the ball and handle the ball. He’s a prototypical Seminole. He will be a tremendous asset to Florida State and coach Leonard Hamilton.”
Isaac models his game after Kevin Durant and wants to perfect his guard skills.
“I’m just trying to work on guard skills,” Isaac told SNY.tv by phone recently. “I don’t want to go into college thinking I’m a stretch four. I want to be a guard when I go to college.”
“He has great footwork, great handle, great perimeter [skills],” Mahoney said. “Obviously, he’s gotta get stronger. We’re working on his perimeter skills because he does handle it like a guard.
“He has a beautiful release…It’s a pure shot.”
