e50vs0n9mrvbcrclHaving already landed immediately-eligible transfers Shonn Miller and Sterling Gibbs, UConn on Thursday landed VCU transfer Terry Larrier.

The 6-foot-8 Bronx native will sit out next season and suit up in 2016-17.

“My relationship with Kevin Ollie,Larrier told Scout.com when asked why he chose the Huskies. “He recruited me in high school and our relationship is real good.”

“He’s just a good dude,” he added. “He’s a stand up dude. We talk all the time. I think he’s done a gooo job with the UConn program. I’m excited to go to UConn.”

Larrier averaged 6.6 points in 18.5 minutes a game last season at VCU.

In September 2013, Larrier picked VCU over UConn.
