Billy Joel is Everywhere: Pushes Rangers to Friday, Imitated by Gene Ween, Closing Nassau Coliseum

The Piano Man may be 66 but he’s showing no signs of slowing down.

In fact, Billy Joel is seemingly everywhere these days.

The Rangers are forced to play Game 7 against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Friday night at Madison Square Garden because Billy is playing the Garden tonight (Thursday).

Also on Thursday (tonight) and Sunday, Aaron Freeman, aka Gene Ween (formerly of the band Ween), does the music of Billy Joel at the Brooklyn Bowl and I’ll be in attendance.

The Piano Man will also close out the Nassau Coliseum August 4th, playing the final concert at the Uniondale, New York arena before it undergoes renovations.
