2016 Big Man Marques Bolden Adds Kentucky Offer

635666935206950149-marquesboldenMarques Bolden, a 6-foot-10 power forward/center from DeSoto (TX), has picked up a Kentucky offer to go with offers from Kansas, Baylor, Louisville, Nebraska and others.

Here’s more from USA Today:

Bolden is having another especially impressive summer. He was hampered by an ankle injury through DeSoto’s season but his athleticism and touch with the ball haven’t been questioned. Bolden averaged nearly 12 bounds and nine rebounds this season before DeSoto lost to Keller in the second round of the state playoffs. Keller was led by sophomore R.J. Nembhard, who just received an offer from Texas.

Bolden wasn’t a major part DeSoto’s rotation in a trip to the 2014 state tournament in March as Baylor signee Terry Maston typically controlled around the rim.

Playing with the Texas Titans last summer. Bolden picked up an offer from Kansas as well as Texas, Nebraska, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Miami and Baylor in a matter of days.
