Jahlil Okafor has been the projected No. 1 pick in the 2015 NBA Draft for more than a year, but that has now changed.
In the wake of his 25-point, 5-rebound, 4-assist effort in the Midwest Regional on Saturday night, DraftExpress now has Kentucky freshman big man Karl-Anthony Towns slotted at No. 1. Okafor, who had been No. 1 since DraftExpress began tracking 2015, is now at No. 2.
The new draft board shows that five of the projected top 10 picks will be playing at the Final Four. Aside from Towns and Okafor, Duke freshman Justise Winslow is No. 5, Kentucky junior Willie Cauley-Stein is No. 6, and Wisconsin senior Frank Kaminsky is No. 10. Kaminsky is the likely National Player of the Year.
Kentucky has four of the top 19 picks at the moment with Devin Booker and Trey Lyles sitting at 17 and 19, respectively.
All told, nine projected first-round picks will be at the Final Four, including Duke freshman point guard Tyus Jones, who is at No. 26.
