Jaylen Brown Hits Free Throws to Win State Title as UCLA Watches

Jaylen BrownJaylen Brown hit two foul shots with .5 seconds left on Saturday to help Marietta (GA) Wheeler win the Georgia High School AAAAAA State Championship with a 59-58 win over Pebblebrook.

UCLA assistant David Grace was in the stands for the exciting game.

The projected No. 1 pick in 2016 by DraftExpress.com, Brown went for 22 points in the game. He is also considering Kentucky, Kansas, North Carolina, Georgia, Georgia Tech and Michigan. He has yet to reschedule his official visit to Michigan.

“After the season, I’ll know when I’ll want to make my decision,” he wrote in his USA Today blog. “I set that as a goal for myself; I’m not saying I’ll know where but, I feel like I’ll know when I’ll want to have a decision by.”

The 6-foot-6 Brown is also a finalist for the McDonald’s All-American Player of the Year, along with Isaiah Briscoe, Jalen Brunson, Malik Newman, Ben Simmons and Stephen Zimmerman.
