Burlington (N.J.) Life Center point guard Traci Carter enjoyed his first official visit to Xavier this weekend and has several other visits coming up.

“The visit was great,” his mentor Donnie Carr told SNY.tv on Sunday. “Xavier showed Traci a great time. They really let Traci know how bad they want and need him. He loved it.”

Carter and Carr saw Villanova beat Xavier, 78-66, on Saturday at the Cintas Center.

The 6-foot Carter will also visit Marquette March 7 and has tentative dates set to visit UConn and Memphis, Carr said, without revealing the dates.

“It’s Memphis and UConn for his next two visits,” he said.

Carter is in the process of trimming his list to five schools.

Carter has seen his stock rise dramatically this winter with his strong play and is being courted by UConn, Memphis, Cal, Boston College, N.C. State, Seton Hall, Creighton, Penn State, Temple, La Salle, UMass and George Mason.
