Latest Mock Draft Has 4 Kentucky Players in 1st Round, Aaron Harrison Falls Off Draft Board

The updated 2015 NBA NCAA Basketball: Mississippi at KentuckyMock Draft from Draft Express shows four Kentucky players going in the first round and two in the second, but sophomore shooting guard Aaron Harrison has fallen out completely.

The Mock has the top five staying the same with the Knicks getting Duke’s Jahlil Okafor at No. 1, followed by Ohio State freshman guard D’Angelo Russell at No. 2, point guard Emmanuel Mudiay (China) at No. 3, Kentucky’s Karl-Anthony Towns at No. 4 and Arizona freshman Stanley Johnson the projected No. 5 pick.

For Kentucky, it looks like this:

No. 4 – Karl-Anthony Towns

No. 7 – Willie Cauley-Stein

No. 14 – Devin Booker

No. 25 – Trey Lyles

No. 35 – Dakari Johnson

No. 51 – Andrew Harrison

Undrafted – Aaron Harrison

This is just the latest indication of how much Aaron Harrison’s stock has fallen.

Gary Parrish of CBSSports.com had both twins in the lottery in June of 2013.

By earlier this month, Aaron had fallen to No. 55 on the Draft Express mock.

Now he’s completely off the board.

Meantime, Towns, Cauley-Stein and Booker continue to impress NBA scouts.

Here’s one NBA scout on each guy:

Towns: “Still a top-3 guy in the draft. Very gifted offensive player who has only scratched the surface of his overall game.”

Cauley-Stein: “[I like] the length and athleticism of Cauley-Stein and he’s a rim protector.”

Booker: “His ability to shoot the ball and has good size for a 2 guard.”
