Burlington (N.J.) Life Center point guard Traci Carter told SNY.tv Tuesday that he is not considering only Louisville, Seton Hall and Indiana, as originally reported on Saturday.
Carter told SNY.tv that in addition to those three schools, he is being recruited by Manhattan, Creighton, DePaul, Memphis and Temple, among many others. As he said Saturday, he is not leaning towards any one school.
Carter also confirmed to SNY.tv that he was at the Prudential Center on Saturday to watch Seton Hall’s upset victory over Villanova.
Asked what he’s looking for in a school, Carter was clear.
“[I want] to make an immediate impact,” Carter said. “Who’s the coach, who’s the staff, who’s is in the recruiting class, what system. Last, but definitely not least, the education and my major.”
The 6-foot, 185-pound guard is ranked 141st in the nation and seventh in New Jersey, according to 247 Sports.
The guard is a confident ball-handler and solid shooter, and has nice defensive instincts.
Life Center’s coach, Pervis Ellison, was a star at Louisville under Denny Crum in the late 80s.
