Justin Goode Commits to Rutgers

By JACK LeGWIN

Justin Goode has committed to Rutgers.

“I picked Rutgers because of a great coach [Eddie Jordan] and staff and the academics are really good,” the 6-foot-3 Goode out of Hargrave (VA) Military Academy told SNY.tv.  “I bring shooting to the team.”

Goode is the third commit for the Scarlet Knights in the Class of 2015, joining point guard Corey Sanders and wing Kejuan Johnson, Goode’s Hargrave teammate.

Johnson just recently committed to Rutgers following their official visit last weekend.

“He’s a dead eye three point shooter,” Johnson said of Goode. “He can create his own shot and he can flat out score.”

Hargrave coach AW Hamilton echoed every word that Johnson said.

“Goode is one of the elite shooters in the country,” Hamilton said. “Unlimited range and he can also put the ball on the floor.
