Jalen Brunson, one of the top point guards in the Class of 2015, will announce Wednesday at 4 p.m. Chicago time for either Illinois or Villanova, according to Eric Bossi of Rivals.

Brunson visited Illinois and then Villanova over the past two weekends.

“These are two great schools, two great basketball coaches,” Rick Brunson, Jalen’s father, told Joe Henrickesen. “We had two great experiences on those two visits. Both coaches will be in one more time on Tuesday.”

Rick, a former pro  player who has recently gotten into some legal difficulty, said his son was still ” on the fence.”

Coveted 2015 guard Malik Newman has set four in-home visits and one official visit, according to the Clarion-Ledger and SNY.tv sources.

Newman, ranked No. 3 in the 247Sports 2015 Composite Player Rankings, has yet to trim his list, but is expected to announce a final five before the start of his senior season.

But before then, Newman will host four in-home visits with some of the biggest names in college basketball. Both Kansas’s Bill Self and Kentucky’s John Calipari will conduct an in-home on Sept. 9, followed the next day by both N.C. State’s Mark Gottfried and UConn’s Kevin Ollie, as the reigning national champion Huskies will conduct their second in-home with the star guard.

UConn also remains in the hunt for 6-10 Milwaukee Dominican big man Diamond Stone, who has talked of a potential package deal with Newman, his teammate on the USA U17 World Championship team.

Matt Milon has committed to Boston College.

“Blessed to say that I have committed to Boston College!” Milon tweeted.

“The combination of academics and athletics was a big factor for me, as well as having the chance to play right away in the ACC,” Milon added by text.

One of the top players in the state of Florida, the 6-foot-4, 203-pound Milon will give the Golden Eagles something that they need, a player who can stretch the floor, and can put it on the deck.

Two weeks after landing center Tyler Davis, Texas A&M scored another huge commitment Sunday when 6-8 Plano (TX) West power forward D.J. Hogg also committed to the school.

“I am very excited and blessed to say I will be attending to the University of Texas A&M,” he Tweeted.

Hogg is ranked the No. 8 power forward in the nation by 247Sports.com composite rankings.

A strong shooter who can also finish at the rim, Hogg had trimmed his list to UCLA, Arizona, Baylor, Texas A&M, Texas and Oklahoma State. Baylor had the been sexy pick for a while.

He and Davis had long talked of ending up at the same school and now give coach Billy Kennedy two premier frontcourt players going forward.

Juwan Morgan, a 6-foot-9 power forward from Waynesville (MO) Senior, will announce Wednesday evening for Indiana or Vanderbilt, sources confirmed to SNY.tv.

One source said he expects Morgan to pick the Hoosiers.

Evan Daniels of Scout was the first to report the news of the impending decision.

“I had that feeling about each school that you get when you know it’s the place,” he told Inside the Hall. “I’ll sit with my parents and talk more about it.”

Morgan is coming off an official visit to Indiana this weekend that went well.
