Matt Milon to Boston College

Matt Milon has committed to Boston College.

“Blessed to say that I have committed to Boston College!” Milon tweeted.

“The combination of academics and athletics was a big factor for me, as well as having the chance to play right away in the ACC,” Milon added by text.

One of the top players in the state of Florida, the 6-foot-4, 203-pound Milon will give the Golden Eagles something that they need, a player who can stretch the floor, and can put it on the deck.

“I think I bring scoring and shooting as well as being able to make the right play when I’m on the court,” he said.

The smooth lefty  chose Boston College over Creighton, Davidson, Florida State, Harvard and Stanford.

Milon led Oviedo (Fla.) to a state championship last season, and will be looking to lead the Lions to back-to-back state championships this year.
