Nakye Sanders cut his list of schools to nine, with Temple, VCU, Duquesne, La Salle, Drexel, St. John’s, Towson, Old Dominion and Seton Hall making the cut. He will also stay in the Class of 2015.

Emmitt Holt has committed to Indiana.
The 6-foot-9 power forward from New York pledged to the Hoosiers Wednesday morning.
“My parents always told me that the worst feeling in life is to look back and say “I wonder,” because once doors close it’s rare they are reopened,” Holt posted in a note on twitter. “Today I would like to announce that I have committed to Indiana University. I would to like to take the time out to thank God for giving me this opportunity along with my family, coaches, and everyone that has supported me along the way. #newbeginnings #hoosiernation.”
Malik Beasley, the 6-foot-4, 190-pound shooting guard from Alpharetta (GA) St. Francis, has set three official visits, according to Paul Biancardi of ESPN.com.
Beasley will visit Florida State Sept. 5-7, VCU Sept. 12-14 and Wake Forest Sept 19-21. Biancardi noted that Beasley is still working visits to St. John’s and Oregon.
Beasley last week cut his list to eight schools — St. John’s, UConn, UCLA, Wake Forest, Florida State, Oregon, VCU and Georgia.
Steven Enoch, who told SNY.tv that he grew up in Norwalk, CT as a UConn fan, has set an official visit to the school for the weekend of Sept. 12, his AAU coach confirmed to SNY.tv.
He will also take an official to Rhode Island the weekend of Sept. 5.
“Growing up I’ve always wanted to play at UConn and my family wanted me to,” the 6-foot-10 Enoch told SNY.tv at the Reebok Classic Breakout. “And they’ve all been fans of UConn. Now that I have [a scholarship offer] I gotta take it slow because I really have to study their program.”
At the recent Big Strick Classic in New York, he called UConn coach Kevin Ollie “a great coach” and said he enjoyed a recent unofficial visit there.
Horace Spencer, a 6-foot-8 power forward from Findlay Prep, received an offer from Rutgers head coach Eddie Jordan during his unofficial visit on Tuesday.
“He did offer and he said Horace would end up playing the 4 spot if he comes there,” Horace Spencer Sr. told SNY.tv by phone. “They have a kid leaving and Horace would move right into that spot. He’s someone who can play multiple positions and guard multiple positions, so he could also play the 2 or 3 in addition to the 4. Horace would be able to fill that role very well.”
“It went real good. We both liked the campus, liked the coaches, liked everything there.”

Jimmy Whitt has committed to Arkansas.
The 6-foot-4 combo guard from Hickman (Mo.) committed to the Razorbacks Tuesday.

Kenny Williams , a 6-foot-2 shooting guard from Chesterfield (VA) Lloyd C. Bird, has committed to VCU.
One of the best shooters in the nation, Williams has elected to play for head coach Shaka Smart and to stay close to home, giving the Rams one of the best perimeter threats in the class of 2015.
“Extremely blessed and excited to announce that I have committed to play my college basketball at VCU! #RamNation“ Williams tweeted.
