Jimmy Whitt has committed to Arkansas.
The 6-foot-4 combo guard from Hickman (Mo.) committed to the Razorbacks Tuesday.
“Blessed to say that I have verbally committed to The University of Arkansas for basketball #woopigsooie right?” Whitt tweeted.
Whitt’s AAU coach for K.C. Run GMC, L.J. Goolsby had nothing but good things to say about the rising senior.
“Whitt is a scorer that can get to the basket and has a great mid range game off pick and rolls,” Goolsby told SNY.tv. “He is bringing an athletic combo guard that can be a difference maker at the college level.”
Whitt chose Arkansas over California, Illinois, Kansas State, Marquette, Missouri, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and SMU.
Whitt is the first commit for the Razorbacks in the class of 2015.
