Arizona Commit Justin Simon to Brewster Academy

Arizona-bound point guard Justin Simon is the latest high-level recruit to transfer to Brewster (N.H.) Academy.

The 6-foot-4 Simon, a native of Temecula Valley, CA, is part of a three-man recruiting class at Arizona that also includes wing Ray Smith and shooting guard Allonzo Trier.

“My family and I thought it was a great idea to get away for my senior year to become more independent and be challenged as a basketball player and a young man,” Simon told the Riverside Press-Enterprise via text message. β€œTo develop in practice and game situations at a level I never had before. … To prepare for Arizona.”

Brewster recently added UConn-bound point guard Jalen Adams and Georgetown-bound forward Marcus Derrickson to a roster that already includes Louisville commit Donovan Mitchell, Virginia-bound big man Jarred Reuter and Washington commit David Crisp.
