Allonzo Trier Turning Heads At Peach Jam, Hearing From Kentucky, Arizona, Louisville

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. – Allonzo Trier has put on a show at Peach Jam, despite dropping two close games to Each 1 Teach 1 Elite and CIA Bounce.

Averaging 25.5 PPG in 3 games, Trier has played in front of Arizona’s Sean Miller and Louisville’s Rick Pitino, and he lists those as two schools that are working hard.

“Arizona, Louisville, UCLA, Washington, North Carolina, Kentucky, Maryland, Georgetown,” Trier said.

Trier has not received an offer from Kentucky, but he says that Coach [John] Calipari has been in touch. 

Jayson Tatum: Will Talk Package Deal with Woods, Smith Jr. and Giles Next Week

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. — Jayson Tatum has put on a show at Peach Jam so far, leading the St. Louis Eagles 16U squad to a 2-0 start, after being a late addition to the team.

“I felt like if I went out there and gave them what they needed, I felt like I could lead them to the championship,” Tatum said. “The 17U team didn’t make it to Peach Jam, so they were alright with me coming to help these guys out.” 

Doral Moore Talks Kentucky, Ohio State

SUWANEE, Ga. – With head coaches flocking around during the second live July period, Atlanta Xpress 7-footer Doral Moore put his game on full display, and has been relatively pleased with the results.

“I feel like I’ve played really, really well [on] offense and defense. I feel like I’ve left a couple plays][on the floor],” Moore said at the Under Armour Association Finals.

Moore has cut his list to five schools — Kentucky, Ohio State, Florida, Wake Forest, and Illinois.

As for what the 7-footer is looking for when he does decide, Moore kept it simple.

Malik Newman Will Cut to 5, Still Wants to Play With Diamond Stone

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. — Malik Newman is injured and unable to play at this week’s Peach Jam, but that didn’t prevent him from stopping by the Under Armour Association Finals in Georgia to shake Diamond Stone’s hand, according to Tweets from Steve Jones of the Louisville Courier-Journal.

The 6-foot-4 Newman has insisted all along that he and the 6-foot-10 Stone will be a package deal in college, telling Jones, “I think that team [that gets us] is going to win the NCAA championship.”

Newman told SNY.tv at the LeBron James Skills Academy that UConn, Kansas, Kentucky, N.C. State and Miami are schools that have been recruiting the duo as a package deal.
