Former Boston College forward Ryan Anderson has announced that he will be transferring to play for Sean Miller and the Arizona Wildcats.

Blessed to say that I’ve committed to Arizona!! BEARDOWN!!!” Anderson tweeted.

The 6-foot-8 junior from Lakewood, CA, was the only player on the Boston College roster to start all 32 games for the Eagles, averaging 14.3 points, and 7.3 rebounds per game.

Anderson will have one year of eligibility remaining after sitting out for the 2014-2015 season.

Arizona could lose some combination of forwards Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Brandon Ashley and Kaleb Tarczewski to the 2015 NBA Draft, so Anderson provides some measure of insurance down low..
