Florida State Releases Cinmeon Bowers

BowersFlorida State has released junior college power forward Cinmeon Bowers from his National Letter of Intent, the Orlando Sentinel reported.

“Not Rushing To Pick A School This Time, I Have To Weigh My Options,” Bowers Tweeted.

The 6-foot-6 Bowers and two teammates from Chipola (FL) College were arrested in January and charged with tampering with evidence after they ate marijuana upon being stopped by the Marianna (FL) Police Department.

In September, Bowers chose FSU over  Memphis, Florida, Louisville and Missouri.

Florida State has three signed players for 2014 in point guards Robbie Berwick and Dayshawn Watkins and former St. Benedict’s Prep big man Norbertas Giga. They also have a pledge from JUCO small forward Kedar Edwards.
