Arizona and Florida are among those schools working the hardest for 2014 Slovakian 7-footer Michal Cekovsky.

Cekovsky plays for Canarias Basketball Academy in Spain and head coach Rob Orellana told SNY.tv he has offers from Florida, Arizona, Louisville, UConn, Oregon, Florida State and Maryland with interest from Duke and Kentucky.

“He’s completely wide open and has no leader right now,” Orellana said.

He will take visits after the season in April and decide in the spring.

“Michal’s upside is off the charts,” Orellana said. “His skillset at 7-feet makes him a unique player. Add to that the fact he is a tireless worker. No question he will be a major impact player at a high-major program.”

Last year, 7-footer Matz Stockman of Canarias committed to Louisville for 2014.
