Bolden Visiting UCLA; Turner Postpones Oklahoma State

Australian small forward Jonah Bolden will take an official visit to UCLA today (Sunday) with his father, he confirmed to SNY.tv.

The 6-foot-9, 210-pound Henderson (NV) Findlay Prep forward recently cut his list to six schools —  UCLA, Louisville, Kentucky, Indiana, USC and SMU — but told SNY.tv that UCLA was among those working the hardest.

UCLA assistant David Grace recently visited with Bruce Bolden, Jonah’s father and an American who played professionally in Australia.

“Yeah, he was down in Australia with my dad,” Jonah said. “He had a good visit. I guess it was a vacation for himself but also just recruiting.”

That trip made an impression on Jonah.

“It definitely shows how much they want me, a need, a want,” he said. “I appreciate it a lot.”

Bolden and Findlay Prep teammate Rashad Vaughn both plan on signing in the spring.

The UCLA visit was first reported by Scout.com.
