Myles Turner to Visit Oklahoma State Next; Father Says Okafor, Turner Could be ‘Formidable Combo’ at Duke

Myles Turner will take his next official visit to Oklahoma State Dec. 6, his father told SNY.tv.

The Cowboys play South Carolina that night at Gallagher-Iba Arena.

The 6-foot-11 Trinity (TX) Euless big man most recently visited Ohio State and enjoyed it.

He is now listing Ohio State, Kansas, Duke, Kentucky, Arizona, Texas and Oklahoma State, and plans to sign late.

Duke recently landed center Jahlil Okafor while Kansas landed power forward Cliff Alexander, but David Turner said both schools remain in the mix for his son.

“Duke is definitely still in the picture,” he said. “Myles would have an opportunity to play for Coach K. Jahlil and Myles could coexist. In fact, I think they make a pretty formidable 4/5 combo.”

As for Kansas, David Turner said they were “still setting that one up” for an official visit.
