There is a big man heading to West Lafayette.

Matt Painter has added another top player to his class of 2014 in 7-foot-2, 275-pound center Isaac Haas out of Hokes Bluff (AL).

Haas is the 2nd ESPN top 100 recruit, and 4th player to commit to the Boilermakers, joining four-star athletic wing forward Vince Edwards, three-star power forward Jacquil Taylor and three-star shooting guard Dakota Mathias creating a class that has quite a bit of upside heading to West Lafayette.

The 86th ranked player in the nation according to ESPN, Haas is a great fit into Painter’s system. He runs the floor well for his size, and has good hands. He has an underrated ability to score with his back to the basket as well.

Haas was originally committed to Wake Forest, before he decommitted and pledged to the Boilermakers.
