Winslow to Visit Stanford

2014 Houston St. John’s wing Justise Winslow will visit Stanford this weekend, his mother confirmed to SNY.tv.

The 6-foot-6 Winslow has kept his recruitment close to the vest but is also considering Duke, Arizona, UCLA, Florida and Texas A&M, among others.

Winslow has yet to further cut his list and his decision could spill into the spring.

He recently visited Duke along with Tyus Jones and Jahlil Okafor and also tripped to Florida last weekend.

“I also really like Florida,” Winslow told PointGuardU before the visit. “They’ve been recruiting me as hard as anyone so they’re definitely an option. And UCLA is still recruiting me.”

Winslow told the site he wanted to see the teams recruiting him play some games before making a decision.

“I’m getting closer to making a decision, but if I had to decide today I couldn’t do it,” Winslow told PointGuardU. “Arizona is going to be in it until the end, but right now I’m going through the process to make the best decision for me and my family.”

Some have wondered why Kentucky — which offered Winslow over the summer — hasn’t stepped up its recruitment of Winslow.

On the wing, Kentucky recruited his AAU teammate, Kelly Oubre, who chose Kansas, and they remain involved for Stanley Johnson, who told SNY.tv he is considering Kentucky along with Arizona, USC, Oregon and Florida.
