Canadian Big Man Egi Taking Visits

Canadian big man Chris Egi is about to take a bunch of visits.

The 6-foot-8, 215-pound center from CIA Bounce and Montverde (FL) Academy heads to Harvard this coming weekend.

After that, Egi will visit Vanderbilt, Cal, Washington and Stanford on consecutive weekends.

Egi may pull the trigger sometime after the visits.

“Soon after my last visit,” he told SNY.tv.

Egi is also considering reclassifying to 2014 from 2015, just like fellow Canadian Andrew Wiggins and former Montverde big man Dakari Johnson did last season.

“It’s definitely an option if I get the offers I’m looking for, I might look at something like that,” he told SNY.tv this summer.

Wherever he lands, Egi figures to make an impact.

“I just want to be the hardest working guy in the gym everywhere go,” Egi said. “I’ll be a little bit versatile for a big man with my quickness and work really hard on defense and just wreak havoc on the defensive end.”
