Isaiah Whitehead enjoyed his weekend visit to Indiana and plans to return for an official visit, Lincoln head coach Tiny Morton told SNY.tv Tuesday.
“It went very well,” said Morton, who accompanied Whitehead. “There were a lot of questions answered. It was a great visit.”
Morton said Whitehead could potentially play either guard spot at Indiana, which just recently offered the New York City star.
“It’s open, he has a chance to play both positions if he wants,” Morton said.

Alex Robinson announced that he will make his college choice between Memphis, Pittsburgh, Texas A&M, TCU, Vanderbilt and Florida State.
The 6-foot-1, 175-pound point guard out of Mansfield Timberview (Tex.) High School, explained why he decided to cut his list at this point.
James Blackmon had a busy and enjoyable weekend taking visits to both Indiana and Michigan State, and will now trip to Kentucky, Louisville and Michigan in the coming days.
The 6-foot-3 shooting guard from Marion (IN) recently decommitted from Indiana but is still considering the Hoosiers.
“I liked it a lot actually,” Blackmon told SNY.tv. “I spent time with the teammates, talking to the coach [Tom Crean] so I liked it a lot.”
Asked if he learned anything new about the program from his visit, Blackmon said: “I didn’t really learn anything new. I knew it was a great place and they got a great coaching staff so just spent a little time with them.”

The add/drop deadline for the fall semester at the University of Florida fell on Tuesday and, according to the registrar’s office, 6-foot-10 Gators freshman Chris Walker is not enrolled, meaning he will not play during the first semester.
The McDonald’s All-American out of Holmes County (Fla.) High School has reportedly been taking three online classes in an effort to reach the NCAA Division I level’s minimum requirement for freshman eligibility.
Walker will now look to finish the coursework and become eligible once Florida’s first semester ends on Dec. 13. Theoretically, under that timetable, Walker could suit up on Dec. 17 when the Gators take on Memphis in the Jimmy V Classic. That game is slated for a 9 p.m. tip at Madison Square Garden and will be televised nationally on ESPN.
