Durand ScottIf Durand Scott is going to play in the NBA, his path is going to include a detour for at least next season. If the Bronx native and Rice High School product’s first stop after a standout college career isn’t the NBA, at least it’s a high level of play overseas.

A source told SNY.tv on Sunday evening that the 6-foot-5 guard has signed with Blusens Monbus Obradoiro of Spain’s ACB, generally regarded as one of top leagues in Europe.

Abdul Malik Abu and Jared Terrell will visit Providence unofficially next Saturday, Expressions Elite coach Tyron Boswell told SNY.tv.

Kaleb Joseph and Pascal Chukwu may also join them.

Providence has been recruiting the 6-foot-8 Abu and the 6-2 Terrell hard for two years, and head coach Ed Cooley has made them a priority.

“We want to recruit the best players in the country,” Cooley, speaking generally because he cannot comment on specific players, told SNY.tv last month at the Nike Global Challenge.

Malachi Richardson will visit Indiana unofficially Aug. 24, he told SNY.tv Sunday.

“I love the coaching staff, that’s my main thing,” said Richardson, who just announced he was transferring back to Trenton (N.J.) Catholic from Roselle (N.J.) Catholic. “Great coaching staff and great feel for the coaches.”

The 6-foot-5 Richardson — the No. 19 prospect in the Class of 2015 according to Rivals — grew up as a Syracuse and Indiana fan.

He’s also planning several September visits.

It appears that Isaiah Briscoe will step in and fill the void left by Malachi Richardson at Roselle (N.J.) Catholic.

After Richardson announced he was leaving RC for Trenton Catholic, the 6-foot-2 Briscoe has decided to attend RC, his father told SNY.tv Sunday.

“Roselle Catholic,” George Briscoe said by text. “Done.”

“We are extremely excited that Isaiah and his family have chosen Roselle Catholic as the school for him to continue his academic and athletic career,” RC coach Dave Boff told SNY.tv.

Since decommitting from Louisville this past week, Quentin Snider has been besieged with phonecalls.

Now the Louisville Ballard point guard and his family are focusing on a few schools to visit.

His father, Scott Snider, told SNY.tv Saturday Quentin will likely visit Indiana and Xavier unofficially by the end of August, and is also planning official visits to UCLA, USC and UConn.

“Right now he’s got offers from Minnesota, Marquette, West Virginia, USC, Illinois, Loyola Marymount, UConn, Texas A&M, UCLA, Vanderbilt and Memphis,” Scott said.

Jared Terrell has a long list of suitors, and Rhode Island may not be the sexiest name on his list.

But the 6-foot-2 Expressions Elite guard is considering the Rams and visited the campus unofficially Thursday with his friend and teammate, Abdul Malik Abu.

“The campus was nice,” Terrell, who plays for Brewster (N.H.) Academy, told SNY.tv. “I like how it was away from the city and more of a college town.”
