Quadri Moore Cuts List to 5 (UPDATED)

Linden (N.J.) 2014 big man Quadri Moore informed  SNY.tv that he would like to keep Temple on his list of schools — which now stands at five.

The 6-foot-8, 225-pound Moore is down to Seton Hall, Cincinnati, Wake Forest, Miami and Temple.

His AAU coach, Brian Coleman, had initially said the list was down to three, but Moore added Wake Forest and Temple.

Marquette and Rutgers had previously been in the mix.

“He can only get five visits,” Coleman told SNY.tv Monday. “He wanted to cut it down and really get the process over with. He wants to take a look at these schools and get it done before the high school season.”

Moore will be setting up his official visits soon.

“Location doesn’t really matter, it’s not really a problem,” Moore told SNY.tv earlier this summer in terms of picking a school.

As for what he would bring to college, Moore said, “I think I’m starting to bring a lot of intensity to games and trying to be a leader. In college I’m not going to be an impactful leader coming in as a freshman. I’m working on it.”
