Seton Hall Offers Logan McLane

As one of the top big men in North Carolina in the Class of 2014, Logan McLane, a 6-foot-8 wing out of the Wilson (N.C.) Greenfield School, has seen his recruitment pick up after a strong summer with his AAU outfit, Team Loaded.

McLane recently picked up an offer from Seton Hall and also holds offers from St. Louis, Mercer, UNC-Greensboro, Winthrop, Miami (Ohio) and Buffalo.

McLane said he likes Seton Hall because they are in the Big East (for now), St. Louis because of their history of success, Miami of Ohio, UNC-Greensboro, Buffalo, Mercer and Winthrop because they keep in touch and communicate on a regular basis.

“All of the schools have good academics and good basketball programs,” he told SNY.tv. “I like the coaches from all of the schools I have built a good relationship with the coaching staff of each school.

After a knee injury in December in a game against the Christ School (N.C.), McLane was projected to be out through June.

“Rehab is going great,” he said. “The doctor and physical therapist say I am ahead of schedule.”

Seton Hall also watched St. Thomas More SG Duane Notice on Wednesday.
