Trey Dickerson’s Hoops Blog

Trey Dickerson is a 6-foot-1 point guard originally from Jamaica, Queens and now at God’s Academy (TX). An uncommitted fifth-year player, he will be contributing periodically to ZAGSBLOG during his senior season. Here’s his first entry:

What’s up? This is Trey Dickerson and this is my players blog for ZAGSBLOG.com.

I go to God’s Academy in Dallas, TX. I like God’s Academy a lot. We are always in the gym getting better and we play a lot of junior colleges, which will prepare me for college.

I currently have offers from Seattle, Cal State-Baskersfield, Oakland U. I am also hearing from North Texas, UCLA, UConn and Auburn. UCLA will come see me on the 22nd of this month.

I like UCLA the most. Coach [Korey] McCray and I have a really good relationship. We text all the time and I’m also cool with Kyle Anderson and have been playing against him since 5th grade.

Seton Hall associate head coach Shaheen Holloway hit me up today and said he’s going to come out and see me. Had a real good convo. We are both from the same neighborhood.

I’m currently averaging 23 points and 7 assists here at God’s Academy and it is impressive to college coaches that I am putting up numbers against junior colleges. North Texas came to see me last week. They really liked me and the head coach is coming back soon to watch me play.

Prep school helped me out a lot to learn how to become a better leader. It also prepared me for the college level knowing that you can’t take any plays off.

Well thanks for having me on ZAGSBLOG!
