Seton Hall’s Wilson to Transfer

To the surprise of no one, Seton Hall sophomore point guard Freddie Wilson is transferring.

The point guard situation at the school is crowded with Aaron Cosby and Tom Maayan playing the position this year, and Texas transfer Sterling Gibbs set to be eligible next season.

“I thank Freddie for his contributions over the last two seasons and wish him luck in his future endeavors,” said Pirates coach Kevin Willard.

The 6-foot-2 guard out of New Haven has played in 40 games for the Pirates and averaged 1.7 points and 0.7 assists for his career.

The Pirates will begin the Big East portion of their schedule when they return to action on Wednesday at DePaul.
