Troy Williams Headed to Visit Indiana After Carolina Stop

Oak Hill wing Troy Williams is headed to Indiana this weekend for Hoosier Hysteria after having visited North Carolina for Midnight Madness last weekend.

“I’m looking forward to it a lot,” the 6-foot-6 Williams told SNY.tv. “I heard a lot about Hoosier Hysteria. I heard there will be a lot of people there and it’s a lot of fun and I think it’s going to be fun.

Uncommitted big man Beejay Anya and committed guard Stanford Robinson are among those expected to join Williams at Indiana this weekend.

As for the North Carolina visit, Williams attended this past Friday for “Late Night With Roy.”

“It was good, it was fun,” he said. “Midnight Madness, all the fans and everybody.”

Williams said Carolina coach Roy Williams and his assistants noticed “that I was getting better…From being here [at Oak Hill] in the weight room, I got a little bit bigger.

“He said I could fit into their program. They play an up-tempo pace and I like to get out in transiton. [He liked] my explosiveness and how well I can I rebound for my position as well.”

Williams is also considering Alabama, Arkansas, Louisville and Ohio State, but has no visits planned after Indiana.
