Despite a report to the contrary, Hudson (N.J.) Catholic small forward Reggie Cameron has not cut his list to five schools.
“That’s not true,” Cameron, a ZAGSBLOG contributor, told SNY.tv Friday morning. “Right now I haven’t cut my list yet so I’m pretty much still open, considering all the schools.”
The 6-foot-7 Cameron is still considering Seton Hall along with UConn, Michigan, N.C. State, Georgetown, Miami and others.
Cameron recently took unofficials to UConn and Seton Hall and will trip to Georgetown soon.
“I’m going to Georgetown next week, Wednesday,” he said.
As for the UConn visit with assistant coach Kevin Ollie, it went well.
“I had a relly good time,” he said. “I spoke with Coach Ollie and the staff and they gave me a tour around the campus, the academic buildings, the football arena, all the learning facilities and so it was real cool.”
He also visited Seton Hall last Sunday with 2014 forward Chris McCullough.
“I always have a good time there,” Cameron said. “They got a really good coaching staff. I like watching them practice.”
Cameron said he plans to cut his list “soon.”
