Amile Jefferson will likely pick Duke or N.C. State on Tuesday at 4 p.m., multiple sources told SNY.tv Monday.
The 6-foot-8 Jefferson has kept it very close to the vest in his recruitment but several people involved in the recruitment say it will come down to the two ACC schools.
N.C. State on Monday picked up a commitment from former LSU guard Ralston Turner, but the school still has at least one scholarship open for Jefferson, sources told SNY.tv.
“I had a relationship with [Coach Mark] Gottfried,” the 6-foot-6, 205-pound Turner told SNY.tv. “He recruited me out of high school so I felt comfortable with his staff. I liked the things they do on offense and I just want to help them win.
“The best thing I do is shoot the ball but I need to work on putting the ball on the floor and making plays and finishing at the basket.”
