Bennett Down to Four Schools (UPDATED)

Anthony Bennett has crossed Washington off his list and is now down to four schools.

“He’s definitely taken Washington off the list,” Mike George of CIA Bounce told SNY.tv Thursday morning. “He’s down to four.”

The remaining four schools in the mix for the 6-foot-7 Findlay Prep forward are Florida, Kentucky, Oregon and UNLV.

“He’ll take another [school] off by next week,” George said. “He’s only gonna visit three schools.”

Asked which three he would visit, George said, “Not sure. He’sĀ gonna cut one off. After that he’s going to go through the process.”

Ryan Greene reported Bennett had a “lengthy sit-down” Wednesday at Findlay Prep with Florida coach Billy Donovan and that coaches from Oregon and UNLV were also at the workout.

Bennett also told Greene he spoke earlier Wednesday with Kentucky assistant Orlando Antigua.

“It’s still a hard decision,” Bennett told Greene. “After all these (all-star) games and stuff, I actually have time to think about it now.”
